Potatoe Farls

  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 2 tbs. Butter
  • 1 lbs. Potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Boil potatoes until soft and then mash well
until no lumps remain.
Melt butter and mix into potatoes and salt.
Mix in the flour and knead until stretchy enough to roll.
Rollout into a circle and cut into four farls. (about the size of a dinner plate)
On a griddle or flat heavy pan bake until brown on both sides. (about 3 mins each side)

Yummy with fried eggs and good bacon rashers.
