Recipe of the Week - Per my grandmother

It is so beautiful and sunny here today
that I thought I would share a bright
and cheerful recipe from my grandmother.   
Is it Irish?  I dunno? 
I do know it is good!!  Try it!

Copper Penny Carrots

2 lbs carrots
1 finely chopped green pepper
1 finely chopped onion
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup salad oil
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
salt, pepper
Peel and cut carrots in thin rounds and
cook in salted boiling water 2-3 minutes until
barely crisp.  Drain..
Mix all other ingredients.
Pour over carrots and marinate over night.


*Note - I Don't want to pull another recipe fiasco like
Mrs. McCain.....
So, I don't know where granny got this recipe from.
All I know is she has been making it for at-least 37 years.
